Rodgers(?), a fellow Presbyterian minister, dated May 12, 1788. Occom regrets that illness has kept him from attending two recent church functions. Occom adds that he plans to travel to Oneida (New York) as soon as possible because he just heard from an Indian who recently came from there that a council or treaty between the Indians and English is planned for the beginning of June.
