Piomingo describes recent hostilities between the Chickasaws and the Creeks. He says that the Creeks recently attacked his nation, killing several people, but the Chickasaws were able to hold off and defeat the Creeks, who lost many warriors. Piomingo urges Robertson to think of the Chickasaws as the brothers of the Americans who should want to help each other in times of need, and he asks for troops and provisions to be sent to his nation.
