Depot located at 216 Front Street was built in 1860 from limestone quarried about three miles from Cuthbert. It is said to be the only one of its kind in Georgia. It was the depot for the Central of Georgia Railroad which was later purchased by the Southern Railway. In 1951 service was discontinued. The Goldkist Corporation adapted it to be used as a storage area. The depot has been restored by the Randolph County Historical Society.</dc:description><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/NoC-CR/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:subject>Railroad stations--Georgia--Cuthbert</dc:subject><dc:subject>Architecture--Georgia--Cuthbert</dc:subject><dc:subject>Transportation--Georgia--Cuthbert</dc:subject><dc:title>[Photograph of railroad depot, Cuthbert, Randolph County, Georgia, ca. 196- --197-]</dc:title><dc:type>StillImage</dc:type></oai_dc:dc>
