William C. Myers and his second wife, Sarah Hamilton Neal Myers. Mr. Myers was born in Edgefield County, South Carolina on May 29, 1812 and died Jan. 16, 1897. He was the first sheriff of Hart County serving from 1854-1855. He was the first to serve in the House of Representatives of the Georgia General Assembly from Hart County.
