Fain-Johnson-Beamer house located at the corner of Piedmont and Trammell Streets was built in 1856 by G.J. Fain. Later owners included Col. Joseph McConnell in 1870s and J.C. Johnson in 1895. In the early 1960s the house was acquired by the Methodist Church.
