Calhoun Woman's Club Cabin. The club was organized in February 1902. After several years this clubhouse in a log cabin design was built on the commons north of Court Street. The cabin was completed in July 1905. The rock fountain seen in the foreground was constructed by W. Laurens Hillhouse in 1910. It was razed in 1975 to make way for the Bicentennial Park. The cabin site is today occupied by the Calhoun-Gordon County Library.</dc:description><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/NoC-CR/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:subject>Architecture--Georgia--Calhoun</dc:subject><dc:subject>Clubs--Georgia--Calhoun</dc:subject><dc:subject>Log cabins--Georgia--Gordon County</dc:subject><dc:title>[Photograph of fountain at the Calhoun Woman's Club cabin, Calhoun, Gordon County, Georgia, 1944]</dc:title><dc:type>StillImage</dc:type></oai_dc:dc>
