The home seen atop the hill at the left was that of Dr. John H. Boston. It was known as Mount Alto. Contractor W. Laurence Hillhouse built the home in 1909. The J. Roy McGinty family later occupied it. Dr. Boston founded the Mount Alto Bedspread Company ca. 1920.
