Sunset School, located on the Moultrie-Thomasville Highway in the Sunset School District in the southern part of the county, served a community of fifty pupils. It was consolidated with Midway and Mount Olive Schools in 1923 at which time the following was said about the school, "School supported seven months by local tax. House needs painting and furnishing, window blinds and patent desks." This is believed to be the older structure serving the school. The newer one is shown by clq252.</dc:description><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:relation>clq252</dc:relation><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/NoC-CR/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:subject>Architecture--Georgia--Colquitt County</dc:subject><dc:subject>Education--Georgia--Colquitt County</dc:subject><dc:subject>School buildings--Georgia--Colquitt County</dc:subject><dc:title>SUNSET DISTRICT SCHOOL,- . . .</dc:title><dc:type>StillImage</dc:type></oai_dc:dc>
