Wetter, Chatham County, Georgia, states that Wetter will provide the CSA with corn meal and grist. The agreement provides specific terms of how much, how, and when the meal will be provided. Wetter agrees to put into operation Lamar's Mill in Savanah on January 1, 1864, and there to convert some 5,000 bushels of corn per week into corn meal and grist. Details of the delivery, processing and quantity of the products are given, as are conditions under which the contract is voided, like the evacuation of the city by the Confederate Army or the disruption of railroad communication. On behalf of the Confederate government, Major MacPherson B. Miller agrees to furnish the requisite bushels of corn to the mill, to provide certain other services, and to pay Wetter a specific percentage of the mill's production as compensation for his services.</dc:description><dc:description>Augustus P.
