Originally a dog-trot cabin until the breezeway was closed off and fitted with a Greek Revival style door frame, with sidelights and transom. The cabin is rectangular, with two rooms on each side and an attic overhead, beneath the gable roof. The cabin features four brick end chimneys and a stone stoop.</dc:description><dc:description>Several additions; restored to approximately 1864 condition by the National Park Service in 1963.
