Purchased later by Robert McComb, the house was subsequently named McComb's Mount. Destroyed by fire in 1940, the frame structure had clapboarding, a standing-seam metal roof, and a two-story, three bay portico with Doric and Ionic columns on the first and second floor respectively.For more information, see Linley, John.
