A long shed is attached to the side of the house. The house has two apparently metal chimneys, one on each end. The house was the home of Sheriff J. C. (Jimpse) Maffett and his wife "Miss Ada." It remained in the Maffett family as the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Garrett.
