A small oval window is centered in the pediment. Slender arched windows in both the church and steeple reveal Italianate influence. The top of the steeple is a cone on an octagonal base topped by a weather vane. The entrance features sidelights and a Palladian fanlight transom. The Washington Presbyterian Church was organized in 1790, and the church was built in 1825. The vestibule and porch were added in 1836. The original building had two front doors.</dc:description><dc:description>Slide annotated: "Washington, Ga.
