The entrance is sheltered by a massive two-story portico with entablature. At the center of the portico is a semicircular projection topped by a balustrade. Six two-story heroic Corinthian columns support the entablature. The entrance features sidelights and transom. The hipped roof is unusually steep, and is matched in height by tall internal brick chimneys.
