Subsequent owners include Dr. William Johnston, Dr. Elijah Evans Jones, Steve Turnell, and Mrs. Fletcher Manley. In 1902, Steve Turnell moved the house 200 feet and later in 1923 opened the house as the Traveler's Inn. In 1977, Sue Reid Law, granddaughter of the final owner of the home, Mrs. Fletcher Manley, donated the structure to The Morgan County Historical Society, Inc.
