[US] (the rt. of Sherman's forces) since both armies moved from Paulding Co.; Ross had headquarters at the Shaw House, June 22, 27, 1864. June 22, Schofield's troops reached Cheney's house. Hascall's div. supported the 20th A. C. [US] at Kolb's Farm, while Cox's div. at Cheney's held the extreme Federal right. June 26, 27.
