Georgia VECTR Center serves as a gateway for veterans' re-entry into Georgia's public postsecondary educational systems and workforce. 5,167 unique individuals received services during AY18 8 Workforce Development TCSG's Office of Workforce Development assumed administration of WorkSource Georgia, the state's federally-funded employment and training program in July 2018. WorkSource Georgia provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds and technical assistance to 19 workforce development areas across the state. WIOA funds target training opportunities in high-demand fields, which ensures that participants leave the program with a living wage in a growth industry.
