We, the Board of isitOl appointed by your Exc ilency to visit and exa.:m.izne into th affair and prope'rty of the above named institution, m Trlrt orput, Taylor and Griffin at aye pring Ga. June 10, 1901 and after ha,ing ~pent two (2) day' at hard work in the investigation, beg leave to ubmit the followino- l' port, to wit: 
We find the buildings and ground are weil k pt amd in excellent condition' but the Dormitory facilities are entirely inadequate for the comfortable acc mmodation of the great number of children, both white and colored, that are in attendance at this chool' we thererfore condemn the anitary condition of the Dor.mitorie' of the in titution. 
The lack of prop l' a ommodation has compelled the manag m nt of th ;; hool to put as many a eighteen white hildren in a I' OD! not o,er t\venrty feet quare; and in the colored department tw nty-oll girls of all age are huddled together in a room twenty fe t uaT '; but 01' the ,oigi.lance xe1'ci'ed by the manao-ement and for th thorough leanlin of the institution, thi" would becom a regulaT pe~t hole.

In the comparisan of 39 'milarinstitution in th niOOd tat " we find that th per capita co t for maintaining the pupil run~ from $156.00 to $350.00, with eorgia the low 't in the li t which i indeed a compliment to tb manag moot of the ame. We find Prof or W. O. onnor the right man in the right place, w~tJh a moot effici~nt corps of teach rs and that the ala.ri paid are equitable and just. \\"e urge that the Visiting ommittee be app ~nted each y ar to yisit thi illBtitution and ngg t that a portion of the 11 ommittee be retained from year to ear.
