The Geo rg ia Na tio nal G ua rd Service-Cancelable Loan program enables citizens who already are members of the Georgia Air Force National Guard or Geo rgia Army National Guard to pursue an underg raduate degree. Default Aversion The Default Aversion Unit works with delinquent student loan borrowers to help them avoid the severe consequences for failure to repay. Volunteer Peer Financial Counseling groups are set up on school campuses, and loan counselors are available by telephone on weekdays and alternate Saturdays to help delinquent borrowers reach acceptable solutions with their lenders.
