 INTRODUCTION 
 
A survey of Georgia cities and counties was conducted by the Department of Community Mfairs to determine local government enforcement of building construction codes. The information obtained from the survey is presented herein to assist local government officials having responsibility for local construction industry, and the general public who are benefited and protected by local codes programs.
