Race and ethnicity are now collected using a two question format which allows a student (1) to indicate whether they are Hispanic or not, and (2) to choose a race. Also, the race category, "Asian and Pacific Islander" was divided into two categories, "Asian" and "Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander." Finally, the category "Multiracial" became "Two or more races."
