Training News: Because of the current state of restricted travel, GSFC's Learning Resources department has several trainings throughout the next few months that are offered via Webinar. Please consult the Professional Learning link on the yellow navigation bar of the homepage to find further information and registration. Georgia Apply to College Week: The pilot for the Georgia Apply to College week will occur from November 11th through 13th. The goal of this event, sponsored by DOE, GFIC, GSFC, TCSG and USG is to provide Georgia high school seniors with the opportunity to apply to college using GAcollege411.org, with a focus on providing assistance to first generation students as they navigate the college application process. We would like to thank Cedar Grove HS, Gainesville HS, Hardaway HS, Loganville Christian Academy, Mountain Education Center, Terrell Middle-High School, Thomson HS, and Ware County HS for their participation in the pilot this year. We are expecting great success, and the ability to expand in the future. It has been restructured based on the feedback we received from our partners, college students and administrators, and high school counselors and students.
