PSC To Hold Public Hearings on Atlanta Gas Light Company Rate Case 
 
Atlanta, August 3, 2010 -- The Georgia Public Service Commission (Commission) will hold a series of public hearings throughout the state on the Atlanta Gas Light Company request for an increase in its base rates. The public hearing schedule is as follows: 
 
 August 18, in Macon, Georgia, beginning at 7 p.m., Bibb County Commission Board Room, Bibb County Courthouse, 601 Mulberry Street, Room 407; 
 August 31, in Savannah, Georgia, beginning at 7 p.m., City Hall Council Chambers, 2 East Bay Street, 2nd Floor Council Chambers; 
 September 13, in Atlanta, Georgia, beginning at 6 p.m., Commission Offices in Room 110, 244 Washington Street, S.W.; and 
 September 22, in Rome, Georgia, beginning at 7 p.m., Rome Civic Center, 400 Civic Center Drive. 
 
At each public hearing, the Commission Staff will present an overview of the rate case filed by Atlanta Gas Light Company followed by an opportunity for the public to make their views known. 
 
The Commission is scheduled to make a final decision in this case at a Special Administrative Session on October 28, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. Any new rates would take effect November 3, 2010.
