"Up until third grade, children are learning to read. After third grade, children must be able to read to learn. Children who do not read proficiently by third grade are four-times more likely to drop out of high school than their counterparts. Research shows that continued learning over the summer months is a critical factor in reaching the third grade reading milestone. We are thankful to myON for providing this free resource statewide."
