These listings are completely separate from the Forum Online "Career Opportunities" jobs board, but will complement the paid job opening and professional internship listings on Forum Online. The volunteer listings are a great opportunity for state and local organizations, historic sites, Main Street organizations and others to get the word out about how people can make a difference in their own community. For more information, contact Cynthia Sanford at 202-5886085 or cynthia_sanford@nthp.org ************************************************************************ NOMINATE A SITE TO THE WMW LIST OF 100 MOST ENDANGERED SITES The World Monuments Watch (WMW) is a global program that identifies and helps preserve the world's endangered cultural heritage by focusing worldwide attention and financial and technical resources on it. The traditional and natural threats to site preservation--from earthquakes and floods to vandalism and war--shape the future of the built environment. And newer risk factors are taking a toll, such as air and water pollution, population pressure, mismanagement, and increasing numbers of tourists. WMW sites change with each two-year cycle. Ideally, each site would be removed by targeting key problems and devising solutions. Visit their Web site at www.wmf.org/html/programs/participate.html for more information. ************************************************************************ PRESERVATION GEORGIA ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION Preservation Georgia Online is produced by the Historic Preservation Division (HPD) of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
