SB 297 by Senator Miller of the 49th HALL COUNTY: Senate Bill 297 revises the compensation of the members of the Hall County Board of Education. Each member of the board will be compensated in the amount of $1,000 per month. 
PURSUANT TO ARTICLE VII, SECTION II, PARAGRAPH IV OF THE STATE CONSTITUTION, THE FOLLOWING LOCAL BILL RELATING TO HOMESTEAD 
EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE: 
SB 275 by HOUSE SUBSTITUTE by Senator Thompson of the 14th BARTOW COUNTY: Senate Bill 275 increases the amount of a Bartow County School District homestead exemption. Each resident 65 years or older is granted an exemption of $60,000. Each resident who is 75 years or older is granted an exemption of $80,000.
