HB 921 by Representative Bruce of the 61st CITY OF SOUTH FULTON: House Bill 921 revises provisions relating to city attorney for the city of South Fulton. HB 923 by Representative Corbett of the 174th CLINCH COUNTY: House Bill 923 modifies the compensation of the Clinch County Board of Education members. The chairperson of the board of education shall receive a per diem of $500 for each day of attendance at regular meetings and $100 for each day of attendance at called meetings, including training sessions, provided compensation shall not exceed $700 per month. The other members of the board shall receive a per diem of $400 for each day of attendance at regular meetings and $100 for each day of attendance at called meetings, including training session, provided that compensation shall not exceed $600 per month. PURSUANT TO ARTICLE VII, SECTION II, PARAGRAPH IV OF THE STATE CONSTITUTION, THE FOLLOWING LOCAL BILLS RELATING TO HOMESTEAD EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE: HB 933 by Representative Nix of the 69th TROUP COUNTY: House Bill 933 increases a $10,000 homestead exemption to $40,000 for residents of the Troup County School District for residents who are 65 and older with incomes not exceeding $40,000.
