HB 978 by Representative Stephens of the 164th CHATHAM COUNTY: A Bill to amend an Act creating the Georgia International and Maritime Trade Center, so as to change the provisions relating to the membership of such authority. 
HB 986 by Representative Black of the 174th LOWNDES COUNTY: A Bill to amend an Act establishing the State Court of Lowndes County, so as to provide an additional judge for said court; to provide for the election and terms of office for the judges of said court; to provide for compensation.

HOMESTEAD EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE: 
SB 307 by Senator Carter of the 1st CHATHAM COUNTY: A Bill to provide a homestead exemption from the Town of Thunderbolt ad valorem taxes for municipal purposes in the amount of the assessed value of the homestead for residents of that town who are 65 years of age or older and whose income does not exceed $30,000.
