SB 166 "Nurse Licensure Compact"; Georgia Board of Nursing exercise certain powers with respect to compact; authorize 
Bill Summary: SB 166 allows advanced registered nurses, as part of a nurse protocol agreement with a delegating physician in an emergency medical services system operated by or on behalf of any county, municipality, or hospital authority, to order drugs for minor illnesses and to order oxygen as necessary in an emergency situation. The drugs authorized here exclude Schedule II controlled substances and benzodiazepines.
