Speaker Richardson appoints State Representatives Tommy Smith, Burke Day, and Jon Burns to the Jasper Port Joint Study Committee 
AtlantaSpeaker of the House Glenn Richardson (R-Hiram) appointed State Representatives Tommy Smith (R-Nicholls), Burke Day ( R-Tybee Island), and Jon Burns (R-Newington) to the Jasper Port Joint Study Committee. 
 
The committee shall undertake a study of the conditions, needs, issues, 
 
challenges, and opportunities relating to both the State of Georgia and the 
 
State of South Carolina are dependent on the economic benefits derived 
 
from the activities of each respective port authority.
