Representative Ed Setzler Presented House Resolution 294, Recognizing the Kennesaw Mountain High School Marching Band 
Atlanta Representative Ed Setzler (R-Kennesaw) addressed fellow legislators on the House floor this morning with a resolution honoring the Kennesaw Mountain High School Marching Band for their outstanding achievements. David Starnes, band director, was acknowledged and briefly thanked the assembly for the honor and the invitation. 
 
Kennesaw Mountain High School Marching Band was one of 93 bands chosen from 40 states, and placed first in the Bands of America competitions. From there, they advanced to the Grand National Finals, where they finished second overall. 
 
"We've seen a lot of state champions be recognized in this assembly, but it is not often that we have a chance to recognize a national champion." Rep. Setzler was quite proud of the talented group of students from his district and their exceptional accomplishments.
