Rep. Broome, who also serves on the House Natural Resources and Environment and House Retirement Committees was appointed to the post by House Speaker Terry Coleman (DEastman). "Representative Broome's demonstrated leadership and ability on the Game, Fish and Parks Committee made him the ideal choice to be Vice-Chairman," said Speaker Coleman. "His knowledge and experience will contribute greatly to the effectiveness of the committee's efforts." The Game Fish and Parks Committee examines all bills relating to hunting, fishing, trapping, license fees, state parks and would handle any legislation dealing with the Game Fish and Parks Division within the Department of Natural Resources.
