Close to a hundred men and women who have served or are serving in the armed forces were in attendance as the Governor presented the proclamation to Pete Wheeler, Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Veteran Services, in ceremony at the State Capitol at 11:00 am. "Being one myself, nothing is more dear to my heart than the veterans of this state," said Mosley. "Through their sacrifices they have made this the best country in the world and words can not describe how much respect and gratitude I have for their service." There are approximately 750,000 veterans living Georgia and more than 25 million the nation. Rep.
