Jamieson Helps Secure Grant for Abstinence Education in Stephens County 
 
Atlanta - Representative Jeanette Jamieson, (D-Toccoa), announces a grant has been awarded in the amount of $23,020 for the Stephens County Abstinence Awareness Project Program. 
"The money will go to promote abstinence for young people in Stephens County," said Rep. Jamieson. "We must do all we can to ensure children go through their teen years healthy and happy." 
"I'd like to thank everyone involved in securing this much needed funding. This is money well spent," said Rep. Jamieson. 
As well as chairing the House Education Committee, Rep. Jamieson serves on the Appropriations committee and the Ways & Means committee.
