Professional and business services (+67,300 jobs), leisure and hospitality (+57,300 jobs), trade, transportation, and utilities (+47,200 jobs), and education and health services (+32,100 jobs) added the most jobs from July 2020 to July 2021. Georgia's unemployment rate (seasonally adjusted) declined to 3.7 percent in July from 4.0 percent in June 2021. Over the year, the unemployment rate is down from 7.6 percent in July 2021.
