Leisure and hospitality (+138,600 jobs), trade, transportation, and utilities (+84,900 jobs), professional and business services (+64,700 jobs), and education and health services (+53,200 jobs) have added the most jobs from April 2020 to April 2021. Georgia's unemployment rate (seasonally adjusted) declined to 4.3 percent in April from 4.5 percent in March 2021. Over the year, the unemployment rate is down from 12.5 percent in April 2020.
