Georgia Department of Labor schedules seminar on unemployment insurance 
ATLANTA  The Georgia Department of Labor's Gainesville Career Center and the Gainesville Area Employer Committee will co-sponsor a seminar on unemployment insurance for employers in the area. 
The seminar will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 8-11 a.m. at the Georgia Mountains Center, 301 Main St. in Gainesville. The program is designed for human resource managers and other personnel who deal with employment and unemployment issues. 
Randy Layton, an unemployment insurance analyst with the Georgia Department of Labor in Atlanta, will lead the seminar and present an overview of the state's unemployment insurance program.
