LABOR COMMISSIONER THURMOND TO ADDRESS NATION'S TOP WORKFORCE SAFETY OFFICIALS DURING NATIONAL CONFERENCE IN SAVANNAH NEXT WEEK 
ATLANTA - The National Association of Government Labor Officials (NAGLO) will hold its annual national conference in Savannah Sunday through Wednesday, Aug. 5-8, at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa. 
NAGLO is the professional association consisting of the chief official in each state and territory of the United States responsible for overseeing the laws that protect and serve working men and women throughout the nation. The conference will feature a variety of prominent speakers who address major issues pertaining to America's 21st Century Workforce. 
State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon session Monday, Aug. 6, at 12:30 p.m. in the Westin's Harbor Ballroom A. 
The keynote address for the luncheon session Tuesday, Aug. 7, will be delivered by WTOC-TV news anchor Sonny Dixon at noon in Harbor Ballroom A. 
Both sessions are open to news coverage.
