More than 70 employers set to attend job fair/career expo in Douglas 
ATLANTA  More than 70 employers are expected to attend a job fair and career expo next week in Coffee County. 
The job fair/career expo will be co-sponsored by the Georgia Department of Labor's Douglas Career Center, Douglas Area Employer Committee, Douglas/Coffee County Chamber of Commerce, and City of Douglas. 
The event will be held Thursday, June 7, from 1-5:30 p.m. at the Central Square Gymnasium B, located at 200-C South Madison Ave. in Douglas. 
The employers expected to participate will be hiring to fill current job openings. In addition, other employers will be discussing possible future employment opportunities with the job seekers, while other organizations will be providing educational and other resources. Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available job openings. 
Among the employers expected to participate in the event include: Ambassador, American Insulated Wire Corporation, Cady Bag Company, Care Master Medical Services, Coffee Regional Medical Center, First String Space, Georgia State Patrol, Labor Finders, PCC Airfoils LLC, Pilgrim's Pride Corporation, Pope Trucking, Spikes StaffMate, Tender Care, Wal-Mart, Wayne Farms, and Wellcare of Georgia, along with the U.S. Air Force, Army, Marines and Navy.
