FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Atlanta Football Classic Job Fair Scheduled ATLANTA The Georgia Department of Labor and 100 Black Men of Atlanta will co-sponsor the Sixth Annual Atlanta Football Classic Job Fair in conjunction with this year's game between the Tennessee State Tigers and the Florida A&M Rattlers. State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond commented on the group's actions, saying, "This annual event is a great way to bring employers together with job seekers to fill available positions. I commend the 100 Black Men for their leadership and hard work that makes this event possible." The job fair will be held Friday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center, 285 Andrew Young International Blvd., N. W., in Building C in Atlanta. The event is free and open to all job seekers. Employers from a wide range of industries are expected to participate in the job fair, which is designed to assist them in recruiting talented, experienced, and skilled workers. Applicants are encouraged to come to the career fair professionally dressed with multiple copies of their resumes.
