GWINNETT COUNTY JOB FAIR SET FOR MONDAY, APRIL 24
ATLANTA -- State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond said today that the Georgia Department of Labor's Gwinnett office, along with its local employer committee, will co-sponsor a job fair in Duluth later this month.
The job fair will be held Monday, April 24, from 2-7 p.m., at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place at 1775 Pleasant Hill Road, which is near exit 104 off Interstate 85.
More than 80 employers are expected to participate in the job fair. Those already committed include: Federal Express, Quest Diagnostics, Nextel, Equifax, Primerica, Gwinnett Promina Health Systems, Nordstrom, United Parcel Service, Conseco Finance Corp., Dave & Busters, Lowe's Home Improvement, Heatcraft Fisher Scientific, Ricoh Electronics, AAA Auto Club, Network Communications, Duron Paints, GE Capital, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Charter Communications, WIKA Instruments, MCI Worldcom, Gwinnett County Government, Marriott, Chateau Elan Winery and Resort, Racetrac Petroleum, Simon Properties, Georgia Department of Labor, Shumate, Lake Lanier Islands, Stone Mountain Park, Apex Supply Co., Kreative Solutions, Delta Dental Insurance Co., AFLAC, and Semtec Nutrition.
Openings include full and part-time jobs for professional, technical, managerial, clerical and skilled construction workers.
Applicants should bring several resumes, dress appropriately, and be prepared to interview.
