WIA'S STRATEGIC PLAN POSTED ON STATE DOL'S WEB SITE AND READY 
 
FOR REVIEW AND COMMENT IN LOCAL OFFICES THROUGHOUT GEORGIA 
 
ATLANTA -- State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond said today that a draft of a five-year strategic plan for the development and implementation of the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) in Georgia is available for review and comment by the general public on the Georgia Department of Labor's Web site at www.dol.state.ga.us 
 
In addition to the Web site, the plan is also available in 16 Job Training Partnership administrative offices and 53 local labor department offices throughout the state. Comments from the public must be received by Tuesday, March 21. Information on how to submit comments is on the Web site, as well as at the office sites.
