JONESBORO AREA VETERANS JOB FAIR SET FOR TUESDAY, NOV. 30 
 
ATLANTA -- State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond said today that the Georgia Department of Labor, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, and the Ladies Auxiliaries will sponsor a job fair for veterans and other job seekers in the Clayton County area. 
 
The job fair is set for Tuesday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the VFW Post 6330 at 732 Veterans Parkway in Jonesboro. 
 
Several employers from the Clayton County area are scheduled to attend the job fair, and discuss a wide-range of job openings, including management and supervisory positions, as well as full-time, part-time and entry-level jobs. 
 
Personnel of the labor department will be on hand to answer questions about career counseling or employment services available from the department.
