STATE DOL TO HOLD JOB FAIR FOR HOME DEPOT IN COBB COUNTY 
 
ATLANTA -- State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond said today that the Georgia Department of Labor will sponsor a job fair next week to fill about 140 openings for a new Home Depot store, scheduled to open in December in Cobb County. 
 
The job fair will be held Friday through Sunday, Oct. 15-17, at 3355 Cobb Parkway in Acworth, the site of the new store. Hours for the job fair will be from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. 
 
Full-time and part-time jobs are available for cashiers, sales associates and other customer helpers. 
 
Salaries range from $8-10 an hour. 
 
Applicants should bring their work history or resume and be prepared to interview.
