NAMED GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF LABOR 
 
SUPERVISOR OF THE YEAR 
 
ATLANTA -- Gail Summers, right, a unit supervisor in the Georgia Department of Labor's Northwest Georgia office in Fort Oglethorpe, has been named the department's Supervisor of the Year. The award is given annually to the labor department supervisor who demonstrates the highest degree of dignity, integrity and professionalism and does the best job of promoting high morale and team spirit in one of the department's 53 offices statewide. The award was presented by State Labor Commissioner Marti Fullerton, center, at the 55th annual educational conference of the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security (IAPES), held recently at Jekyll Island. Ms. Summers was nominated for the award by office manager Dot Hale, left.
