ED GOLD OF ALBANY WINS STATE LABOR DEPARTMENT AWARD 
 
ATLANTA -- Ed Gold, right, a disabled veteran outreach program specialist in the Georgia Department of Labor's Albany office, has been named winner of the department's Marion A. (Bugs) O'Connor Award. The award is given annually for the best job placement of a disabled applicant by one of the department's 53 offices. The award was presented by State Labor Commissioner Marti Fullerton at the 55th annual educational conference of the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security (IAPES), held recently at Jekyll Island.
