DEPARTMENT'S IAPES COMPETITION 
 
ATLANTA -- Greg Smith, left, of Atlanta, a senior audit and tax collection agent with the Georgia Department of Labor's central office, has been named runner-up in the department's Chapter Activity Awards competition. The award is given annually for an effective exchange of ideas relating to the field of employment security through area institutes held throughout the state. The award is presented by Mary Williams, right, of Atlanta, on behalf of the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security at the 55th annual educational conference held recently at Jekyll Island.
