RETIREE OF THE YEAR BY IAPES 
 
ATLANTA -- Cliff Granger, left, of Tucker, former director of the Georgia Occupational Information Coordinating Council (GOICC), has been named the Georgia Department of Labor's retiree of the year. The award is given annually by the labor department retiree who is recognized as having carried on the objectives of the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security (IAPES), the professional organization of the labor department, even after retirement. The award was presented by IAPES chapter president Ken Hain, right, of Atlanta, at the organization's 55th annual educational conference held recently at Jekyll Island.
