HIGHEST PERCENTAGE OF DISABLED VETERANS PLACED AWARD 
 
ATLANTA -- Alvin Chambers, Connie Norton and Nelda Ryan, from left, representing the Georgia Department of Labor's Valdosta office accepts the Highest Percentage of Disabled Veterans Placed Award. The award is given annually to the labor department office for the highest percentage of disabled veterans placed in jobs from among the state's 53 offices. The award was presented by Ward Gibbons, right, chairman of veterans activities for IAPES, at the 55th annual educational conference of the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security (IAPES), held recently at Jekyll Island.
