FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE LABOR DEPARTMENT'S LAGRANGE OFFICE WINS 
 
BEST PLACEMENT OF OLDER VETERAN AWARD 
 
ATLANTA -- Bobby Hyatt, a veterans representative from the Georgia Department of Labor's LaGrange office, accepts the Best Placement of Older Veteran Award. The award is given annually to the labor department office making the best placement of a veteran age 55 or older in competition among the state's 53 offices. The award was presented by Hartwell Morris, center, the state director of veterans employment training for the U.S. Department of Labor, at the 55th annual educational conference of the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security (IAPES), held recently at Jekyll Island. Also shown is Ward Gibbons, right, chairman of veterans activities for IAPES.
